Before You Arrive

Checklist

Use the following checklist to make sure you are ready to depart for University of St. Francis! Print the checklist to track your progress. You should have all of the items on the checklist completed prior to arriving on campus for International Orientation.

Orientation is mandatory and you are expected to attend.

Health and Immunizations

All international students are required to have health insurance. All students are automatically enrolled inÌýÂ鶹Éç’s insurance planÌýunless there is proof of private coverage that is accepted by Â鶹Éç. Some hospitals and physicians may not accept the health insurance purchased outside of the United States. For more information, please visit our Health Insurance website.

Orientation

On the first and second day of the program we will provide orientation to help you understand the program and the university. The following topics will be covered:

  • Housing
  • Identification cards
  • Health insurance
  • Safety issues
  • Class schedule
  • Navigating the campus

ÌýWhat to bring:

  • Official transcripts (for students in all programs except for Intensive English)
  • Passport, visa, Â鶹Éç I-20, or other immigration documents
  • Copies of your immunization history, if available
  • Your checkbook, travelers checks, credit card or guarantee letter from your sponsor (if you need to pay theÌýprogram fees)
  • Pen and pencil
  • Original graduation diplomas/certificates from all universities you have attended
